What Are Marvel Thinking… Jim Carrey And Adam Sandler Under Their Radar For GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY

This news will surprise and infuriate you at the same time. The ever-reliable Latino Review revealed last night that a new round of comedic actors (Cam Gigandet, Wes Bentley and Chris Lowell) reading for the role of Star-Lord inGuardians of the Galaxy, and in addition, they are looking at Jim Carrey and Adam Sandler for undisclosed roles in the upcoming sci-fi comedy.

It’s not said whether the two actors are wanted for Star-Lord, the same role, or two different roles altogether, however if they both end up being cast I think it’s fairly obvious they’ll be lending their voices to the mo-capped Rocket Raccoon and Groot. As long as Sandler is doing as little acting as possible, I’m perfectly fine with him voicing one of the Guardians, preferably Rocket.
