Warner Bros Give Awards Push To THE HOBBIT, ARGO, CLOUD ATLAS And THE DARK KNIGHT RISES

Awards season is coming up, and as usual studios are releasing their ‘For Your Consideration’ lists. Warner Bros are the first to send out there’s, and unsurprisingly Argo, The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey, Cloud Atlas and The Dark Knight Rises are all on the list. The latter one is more interesting to me. While it was definitely the weakest of the trilogy, it definitely doesn’t deserve most of the awards WB want it to be nominated for. You can see the list below:

Out of all these, the most likely nominations to me are Best Director for Christopher Nolan and Best Original Score for Hans Zimmer, and MAYBE Best Supporting Actor to Tom Hardy/Michael Caine (Anne Hathaway will probably get nominated for Les Miserables). I don’t see Cloud Atlas winning anything major, however. Which movies do you want to see nominated come awards season? Share your thoughts below.
