Wachowski’s Are “The One” For JUSTICE LEAGUE Movie

According to recent rumours and reports, Lana (formerly Laurence) and Andy Wachowski are in talks to helm the WB’s JUSTICE LEAGUE, which is due out in 2015 or 2016… as long as it doesn’t turn into a s**t storm of delays.

The duo is best known for their blockbuster metaphysical MATRIX trilogy, but since those films debuted, the siblings have yet to reach similar box office glory. Their next outing is Cloud Atlas, based on the book of the same name, and it looks to be one of the best flicks of the year (click here for the trailer).

What do you guys think of the Wachowski’s in the DC world? Is this an awesome move? Or a bit TOO risky?

I think it could be brilliant. The directors are absolutely incredible at bringing genre films to the silver screen, and as long as they don’t indulge in the campier “Caped Do-Gooder” aspect of Superman and Batman, then this team flick could possibly surpass the nerdgasmic Nolan standard of amazeballs.
