Updates On DC’s Upcoming Movie Projects

Variety reports that Warner Bros are really starting to go full speed ahead in terms of their upcoming DC movie projects, as the studio plans to continue work on Aquaman, Shazam, Suicide Squad and Green Arrow movies. The last seems a little odd, considering Arrow hits the small screen this Fall, so I think they’ll just bring the characters from the TV series to the big screen at some point.

Apparentally, WB are making sure they hire the right creative minds to make their movies (like Marvel) and not have another Green Lantern incident. Along with that, execs are still undecided on what to do with the Green Lantern franchise – especially what to do with Ryan Reynolds. And finally, they will definately move ahead with the Batman franchise after The Dark Knight Rises is released next month, although it’s unclear whether they’ll reboot or continue on with the current continuity.
