Like We Needed Two More Reasons To Be Excited About THOR: THE DARK WORLD

As if Thor alone would not be enough to get us out of our nerd caves and to the movies, Marvel released two new movie posters today. Get an eyeful of Jane Foster and the Lady Sif. A.k.a. Natalie Portman and Jaimie Alexander. Wow doesn’t begin to explain it. Another epic Thor movie (with Loki, played by the masterful Tom Hiddleston) and a showdown rife with possibilities was plenty and then we get the posters. Natalie and Jaimie reprising their roles looks amazing; in every way possible.

If you missed either one in the first Thor, which was easy at times, I have a feeling you will not be in THOR: THE DARK WORLD. If the posters are any way to judge it, I know these two lovely ladies will be front and center this go-around. The tension between Jane and Thor will be ratcheted way up and Sif will be helping Thor all movie long…in the hottest battle dress since Red Sonja. I think the real issues are finding a way to see this movie early and getting your hands on these posters before they are all gone.

As for the implication that Marvel released these posters on the same day to set up some sort of early tension between the two beautiful ladies as a way of foreshadowing for the movie – I don’t buy it. I think the are just using their assets to promote this film. Next week it will probably be posters of Thor and Loki and after that, Malekith. I for one would not mind seeing more of the always gorgeous Natalie Portman and the sexy Jaimie Alexander. Either way, I was already super-geeked for Thor: The Dark World. Now I have two more (hot hot) reasons to be more excited.
