Tolkien fans have been waiting since December for another glimpse of Part 1 of The Hobbit trilogy, titled The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey, despite different footage presentations being shown at CinemaCon and SDCC earlier this year. This week is ‘Tolkien Week’, celebrating the 70th anniversary of Lord of the Rings, and Peter Jackson announced via his Facebook page that we’ll be seeing a new trailer for the prequel this Wednesday!
It was recently announced that Jackson and co would film a third movie next year, to be released July 18, 2014, entitled The Hobbit: There and Back Again, with the second movie re-titled The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug. Watch the video below:
