THE DARK KNIGHT RISES Falls to BOURNE LEGACY

THE DARK KNIGHT RISES has finally fallen to box office competition, ending a 3 week reign that is sure to send it towards a $1 Billion gross.

The Bat flick was usurped by the Jeremy Renner led BOURNE LEGACY, which is the fourth in the spy series and the first with its new lead actor. While it didn’t quite live up to Damon-esque expectations, it managed to capture a $40 million haul despite less than stellar reviews (53% on Rotten Tomatoes).

I still havent’ been able to sneak away to the theatres for my second screening of TDKR, but with the masses distracted by a new flick, I might just take advantage of the empty auditoriums.

There’s nothing better than sprawling out in an audience-less movie, a 64 oz Coke Zero in one hand and a bucket of Milk Dud sprinkled Popcorn in the other.

I know it kinda looks like little pieces of poop ontop of stale air popped kernels, but I promise you, it’s…

DUH-LISHOUS!
