Superman: Man of Steel Spoiler

We’ve got our hands on a potential spoiler for the upcoming Zach Snyder reboot of Superman, so if you don’t want to know, look away now!!! I’m serious, this is a pretty decent one!!! And it’s a little upsetting, depending on which side you’re on!!!

Alright, now that I’ve warned you, it appears that Lex Luthor will be making a cameo in Zack Snyder’s Man of Steel in a very ‘easter egg’ style appearance…a lot like the allusion to the Joker at the end of Batman Begins. While this isn’t as earth-shattering of a reveal as one might suspect, the  WB’s rumored actor is destined to stir up a commotion. They’ve chosen none other than Bradley Cooper to inherit the role of old Baldy. Bouncing fresh from the failed production of Paradise Lost, Cooper is a strange choice for the Man of Steel role.

Say what you want about Superman Returns, but I think Kevin Spacey was the perfect candidate for the film version of Lex Luthor. Even better than Gene Hackman in the 1970’s original. And for some reason, I just can’t picture Cooper in the role. But who knows!?!? Just look at the success that Heath Ledger had with his take on the Joker. Maybe Cooper will give us an equally inspired take on the Metropolitan megalomaniac.
