Seth Green Hates Affleck BATMAN for the DUMBEST Reason

Ben Affleck was never even on my radar as a future Bruce Wayne (Idris Elba was my #1 choice), but as soon as Zack Snyder and the good folks at the WB announced the Argo star as the Caped Crusader in Batman Vs Superman, I was on board. One hundred percent. Ben Affleck is not only a stellar actor, as The Town proved, but he’s a hell of a film maker. A fact that’s already influenced the future of Batman vs Superman, as Ben Affleck’s Argo screenwriter was hired to redraft the original script, which was written often derided superhero scribe David S. Goyer.

Well, Seth Green’s not so optimistic. The tiny tot of a man complained incessantly on David Letterman.

“Modern mainstream is accepting of interpretations of these characters with more gravitas, you know. We’re past the time of Adam West’s kind of goofy interpretation of Batman.

“If this movie is meant to be the idealistic alien, humans before all else Superman, and this is supposed to be the grizzled weathered Batman who’s been living in Gotham, fighting crime himself for 10 years, you need a guy who’s older, you need a guy who’s got more weight, you need a guy that a Henry Cavill Superman is gonna be actually scared of.

“There is only so much that you can act a role before people are or are not going to believe you in that role.

“I’m never going to play, um, you know, an MMA fighter, because I’d step into the ring with an actual MMA fighter like Batista and I wouldn’t look correct.”

I… don’t really agree with anything he’s said. Ben Affleck looks EXACTLY like Bruce Wayne and he looks EXACTLY like Batman. You just need to browse through Google Images to view Affleck with all of his suave, Bruce finesse. And as far as his Batman guise goes, check out this badass photoshop.
