SAMUEL L. JACKSON Doesn’t Know If He’s In THE AVENGERS 2

Samuel L. Jackson’s unsure if fan favorite Nick Fury will return in Marvel’s THE AVENGERS 2 in 2015, and there’s no reason that we should be too surprised. After all, the House of Ideas is often tight lipped about their yearly plans, and the actors involved never know if they’ll pop up in this film or that one. Although, after last week’s giant salary scandal involving Chris Hemsworth, Scarlet Johansson, and the rest of Earth’s Mightiest Heroes… I wonder if Jackson’s doubt is a symptom of Marvel’s greater problem: the fact that they’re cheapskates!

“I don’t know. They don’t tell me that kind of stuff. All I know is that I am doing Captain America 2. It’s been cool. The Marvel universe continues to grow and get better. I think I have four or five pictures left on my nine-picture deal, so I will just keep showing up.”

Now, don’t worry your little fanboy hearts too much. I’m sure Samuel L. Jackson will return to the role (hopefully with a bit more enthusiasm than he showed in The Avengers). Marvel’s already secured him for 9 flicks and they’re certain to make the most of it.
