That’s right folks, Ryan Reynolds is in active negotiations with Lionsgate Films to star as the world’s greatest immortal swordsman (you know, besides the very blue ghost of Yoda) in the newest Highlander Reboot. Hollywood has this flick wrapped tightly in their ‘we have no idea what we’re doing’ cloak of secrecy, so we’ve yet to determine if this is an entirely new tale or just a retelling of Connor Mcloud’s ascendancy.
Well, ow do you feel about it fanboys? Is Reynolds “the one” or is this just another terrible miscast?
I’ll be honest, I’m not quite sure if he can play a convincing action hero. All of his other attempts (I’m looking at you Green Lantern) have either been dangerously mediocre or just flat-out terrible.
