INCREDIBLE “G.I. JOE” FAN FILM

If you want a little less Channing Tatum in your G.I. Joe, then you’ve come to the right place. Super-fan Mark Cheng has made a definitive fan film in honor of the classic 80’s cartoon and comic, titled G.I. Joe Operation: Red Retrieval. I have to admit, this is a pretty great attempt at realizing the classic tales in live-action…and with the next silver screen entry in the series not due till next summer, this 20 minute fan film will have to hold us fanboys over.

What did you guys think? Sound off in the comments below…and remember, these are fans, not professional film makers. And they’re not trained actors or CGI artists, so not everything will live up to Hollywood standards, even though they’ve done a pretty good job. This is a fan film after all, so be constructive with your criticism.
