No More Sexy Leather Suits For X-MEN in DAYS OF FUTURE PAST

Director Bryan Singer first brought our favorite mutants to the big screen in 2000’s X-MEN, which was the start of the modern superhero movie craze (ignoring Blade, of course). Well, not everyone was thrilled with the Sing-meister’s direction, particularly when it comes to the costumes. You’ll probably remember that Wolverine and crew rocked black leather onesies reminiscent of some of the more freaky OKCupid profile pics out there.

With X-MEN FIRST CLASS director Matthew Vaughn dropping from the sequel DAYS OF FUTURE PAST, and Singer’s sudden proclamation of “DIBS!”, fanboys all over the globe worried that the BDSM fanatic would reinstate his creepy leather fetish. But you can all breathe easy now. Bry Bry (as I like to call him) has declared he’s going all PETA on us…

So what do you think? Super stoked? Meh?

Ol’ girlfriend stealer thinks it’s pretty interesting.
