As filming kicks off in Australia for the “standalone” X-Men movie The Wolverine, the official Facebook page has launched with it and it brings along the first synopsis, shedding light on the secretive plot of the movie. The official Twitter has also come online, and some cool stuff (e.g photos and interviews) has been promised so keep your eyes glued to UTF over the coming days (we hope you were planning to anyway). Based on the celebrated comic book arc, THE WOLVERINE finds Logan, the eternal warrior and outsider, in Japan. There, samurai steel will clash with adamantium claw as Logan confronts a mysterious figure from his past in an epic battle that will leave him forever changed.
Hugh Jackman recently clarified that the movie will have no connection to the rest of the X-mythos, mainly because X-Men Origins: Wolverine screwed everything up so much and was shit, so with that information and the new synopsis, what’s your opinion? Sound off below.
