Like any fanboy hovering around the inter-webs I’ve been anxiously awaiting any tid-bits regarding this forthcoming superhero flick. Thanks to the fans who shared The Dark Knight Rises countdown clock we get another taste of this movie featuring yet another rendition of the ‘Last son of Krypton.’
Since the teasers were released (you can watch them here) there’s been a couple news stories to tide us over but we’ve all been waiting (maybe not patiently) for the ad campaign to really kick-in for this assured box office blockbuster. Well boys and girls, looking at this poster I think it’s safe to say: here we go.
You can see very clearly a tough looking protagonist that actually looks like he can take on the likes of Zod or Darkseid (for more on that click here) if need be. Visually we’re getting something rather striking, as Kal-El is clearly in custody. The reason why that matters is because it shows a hero who’s willing to submit to law and order even though he can quite easily break-free from this meager level of confinement.
So what do you guys think? Are you excited about this movie yet or do you need to see more before you put your faith and cash behind this jaunt? Sound off with your thoughts and opinions in the comments section below.
