Sequel to the 2005 box office hit, Sin City: A Dame to Kill For is finally gaining momentum under director Robert Rodriguez, but the studio is still struggling to reunite the original cast.
Mickey Rourke’s been one of the toughest fish to grab, but according to recent reports, the actor will return as the scar-faced Marv. Here’s what the actor had to say:
“It depends,” he said, “It depends on how bad they want me. You feel me?… I did [like the character], but I’m claustrophobic, so the the hours of makeup — You have to keep it on for about 13 or 14 hours a day. It’s latex and glue and that stuff that gets my eyes all red…”
Even though he seems a bit ambivalent, I think his participation in the project is guaranteed. Besides Deadline‘s insistence that he’ll return, there’s one other important reason…
