Marvel Eyeing Three Actresses To Play Sharon Carter In CAPTAIN AMERICA: THE WINTER SOLDIER

Well, this certainly flew right past everyone. Yesterday The New York Daily reported that Marvel are currently looking at three different actresses to play the female lead in Captain America: The First Avenger, set to begin filming in North Carolina next January. While it doesn’t state the part is for Sharon Carter, Peggy Carter’s niece, there are no other female characters in Winter Soldier and it seems pretty obvious that’s who one of them will play. The actresses Marvel are eyeing are Anna Kendrick (Twilight Saga), Imogen Poots (Fright Night) and Felicity Jones (Cemetary Junction).

I haven’t seen any of their work, but none of them come across as a secret agent to me, especially a tough one like Sharon. But if I had to choose Felicity Jones, because she has the right look. Who do you want to see play Sharon Carter? Sound off below.
