Marc Webb Teases us… with Images from The AMAZING SPIDER-MAN 2!

Following the first two days of filming the franchise director of this latest slew of Peter Parker irradiated romps has seen fit to post some candid images.

They’re not especially epic or even all that tantalizing, but I gotta tell you I’m thoroughly excited to see where they’re taking this latest adventure.  Between the interesting bits of casting news to the fact that at the end of the day this is a Spider-Man movie and you have me very intrigued.  It also helps that the first one won me over with its solid narrative choices so I’m pretty much open to see where this all is in fact going.

But what do you guys think?  Are you at all interested in this continuation or do you yearn for a new director to pilot this saga?  Are you a fan of the casting as it currently stands or are there other people you’d rather see in this movie? The Amazing Spider-Man 2 is directed by Marc Webb and opens May 2, 2014.  The cast includes Andrew Garfield, Emma Stone, Jamie Foxx, Shailene Woodley and Dane DeHaan.
