KICK ASS 2 Nabs Yancy Butler

Gearing up for its September shoot, KICK ASS 2 is hastily re-assembling its original cast. Most recently, they’ve scored Yancy Butler who played Angie D’Amico, mother of Red Mist in the first flick.

I know this might not seem like big news, but given the sequel’s rocky road to development, any casting success is reasons for celebration… and besides, Butler is kinda milf-tastic.

We still haven’t nabbed any juicy scoops about the script, but according to recent rumblings from the cast, the story will have a heavier gangland feel.

Hit-Girl fisticuffing with the Jets and the Sharks? I can dig it.
