Jamie Foxx Spills THE AMAZING SPIDER-MAN 2 Plot Details

Jamie Foxx is currently out doing the press rounds for the upcoming Django Unchained, and naturally questions quickly turned to the actor’s involvement in The Amazing Spider-Man 2, in which he will be bringing Electro to life on the big screen as the main villain.

In an interview with MTV, the actor revealed a pretty important plot point from the movie, and that the Electro we see in this movie might be completely different than the one we know from the comics. Check his comments out below:

“You’ll see that in his whole life, no one is talking to [Electro]. People have stolen his ideas at the big company. He’s a nobody. At a certain point, Spider-Man bumps into him and says, ‘You’re my guy. You’re my eyes and ears on the street.’ And he says his name — no one has ever said [Max] Dillon’s name.”

Foxx goes on to say that the costume in the movie won’t be the classic green and yellow get-up, but rather the Ultimate version. Additionally, he hints that due to a series of ‘unfortunate events’ we see him turn into the villain we know and love.
