It’s A Bird… It’s A Plane… it’s Samuel L Jackson In SECRET SERVICE

The  Captain America: The Winter Soldier star turns villain in the upcoming  Matthew Vaughn (X-Men: First Class, Kick-Ass) movie adaption of The Mark Millar (Kick-Ass) and Dave Gibbons ( Watchmen) comic ‘The Secret Service’ This begs the question, Is Samuel L Jackson overexposed?

I like the Pulp Fiction star as much as anyone, but with 11 movies currently in various stages of production,  there comes a time when movie goers grow weary of seeing the same actor each time they go to the theater. I for one do feel that if he is not overexposed yet, he soon will be. Reluctantly I have to question His involvement  in this film, but hey I didn’t think Nicholas Cage was the best choice for Big Daddy in Kick-Ass so ill be the first one to admit when I am wrong.

This isn’t the first time that Matthew Vaughn has directed a movie based on one of Millars comics either ,they previously teamed up on Kick-Ass, so I have high hopes for this collaboration as they both meet up once again.

Mark played such a hands on role in the production of Kick-Ass, so I expect this time to be no different,  it already has me more excited than ‘ Wanted ‘ where ,admittedly, his role was marginal at best.

Colin Firth is set to play the character of  ‘uncle Jack’ an MI6 agent whom plays mentor to his street smart nephew Gary ( Taron Egerton) and tries to turn his life around.
