I Do Declare, New Images from Django Unchained

Amidst all of these summer time superhero antics, it’s easy to forget the other great genre films coming out this year. Well, easy for the common man I suppose, but not for yours truly (excuse my candid display of dickish-ness, I scored some serious hang time at the bar today, so I think my temporary arrogance is deserved).

Allow me to remind you of Quentin Tarantino’s latest project, the revenge driven period piece Django Unchained. Set in the Antebellum South, this film follows in a long line of blood soaked historical epics from QT’s sick and twisted mind.  Django, a recently freed slave, joins the ranks of a German bounty hunter, and the two go merrily on their way towards vengeance and restitution.

Starring Jamie Foxx, Christoph Walz, and Leonardo Dicaprio, Unchained is destined to deliver raging nerdgasms to every film geek in the country when it debuts this December. Until that time, though, these new pics will have to sate your undying hunger.
