UPDATE: Hugh Laurie Out Of ROBOCOP; Clive Owen In Consideration

A few months ago it was revealed that Hugh Laurie was in negotiations with MGM to play the CEO of OmniCorp in the Robocop reboot, and seemingly the main villain. Many were excited at the prospect, as it would be a good jumping point for Laurie’s career after House. Now, Variety are saying that the actor has pulled out of talks for the film.

Deadline have now said that MGM are looking at a group of actors to replace Laurie, including Clive Owen. Recently script details for the reboot leaked online, and was met with general distaste. You can read them HERE. For now, did you want to see Hugh Laurie in Robocop? Sound off below.
