Hugh Jackman Confirmed For X-MEN: DAYS OF FUTURE PAST

Bryan Singer’s certainly milking his return to the X-Men franchise. By now, Patrick Stewart and Ian McKellen have been confirmed to return to prequel-sequel X-Men: Days of Future Past (and James Marsden and uh… Halle Berry), and now we can add another returning name to the list: Hugh Jackman as Wolverine – confirmed by Singer himself on Twitter.

That’ll mark Jackman’s sixth X-Men appearance (including next summer’s The Wolverine), continuing his streak of appearing in every X-Men movie, even if one of those appearances was three words long (brilliant, but short) and another was X-Men Origins: Wolverine.

X-Men: Days of Future Past is released on July 18, 2014 (for now at least, as it’s penciled in to rub shoulders with The Hobbit: There and Back Again, and that would suck for both films).
