The Daily Blam! report that Arrow (a pilot for a proposed TV show based on the DC comics character Green Arrow) has had a rough cut of it screened to studio execs at the CW and they are commissioning it for a full series. The channel previously filmed a pilot for a Wonder Woman TV series, that was panned by basically everybody in every damn aspect of the show. Obviously, the pilot never aired but it did leak online.
As of now, there’s no word on how many episodes have been ordered or when the show will air, but we’ll find out later this month as the CW announce their Fall schedule. As with all rumours, take this with a grain of salt but considering the show doesn’t look too shabby and the CW will want something to fill the gap after Smallville ended, don’t be surprised if this is true (even if the pilot is completely terrible).
