GWYNETH PALTROW Serves Up Massive IRON MAN 3 Spoilers

A few months ago we reported some juicy IRON MAN 3 spoilers, revealing that Pepper Potts will don her own suit of armor, and today Gwyneth Paltrow has confirmed the story.

Here’s a bit of what she said:

“I didn’t mind wearing the suit at all,” she said when asked what it was like suiting up. “I thought it was light and perfectly comfortable and my children thought I was extremely cool. They were here on a day where I was in it, so they were trying it on and when my son saw me in the suit, he had the biggest eyes, so it was definitely worth it.”

As always, I hate to be a braggart (especially since we’re so revered for our modesty here at UTF), but… I fuckin’ atodaso!

In the comics, Pepper’s suit was only meant to provide disaster relief, not to exchange blows with Marvel’s big guns, so I wonder if that aspect will be faithfully adapted into Shane Black‘s flick. The director probably won’t want to miss an opportunity to provide another badass Marvel heroine, so let’s hope we’ll see at least one ion blast from her suit.

Besides this bit of confirmation, though, Paltrow leaked even more spoilers, but I wasn’t brave enough to read through all of it. BUT… that doesn’t mean I won’t post it below for you greedy fangirls & fanboys to read.

Another intriguing quote comes from Kevin Feige about Don Cheadle suiting up, again, with a new paint job. “So, at the beginning, we see that the President has asked Rhodey as War Machine to get a new paint job and take on the new moniker of the Iron Patriot in order to do American business and be the American hero as opposed to The Avengers or Iron Man himself, who is sort of a separate entity… In a way it becomes a buddy action film, in the third act, where they team up. Neither of them have a suit at a certain point in the movie and they really team up in a great, sort of old- fashioned action movie way and Don and Robert have such an amazing rapport.” In addition, Feige also revealed, “Aldrich Killian heads a brain-trust organization called AIM that is developing Extremis, which is something that taps into human DNA and is able to reprogram it and regenerate limbs and enhance strength and cure wounds. But it also could change the whole world, which is what Killian intends to do with it.”

I saw something about AIM, Rhodes, and then I slammed my computer shut. Are these Iron Man 3 spoilers worth it? Should I give them a read?

Heyo. I'm Nick Dourian, the Editor-In-Chief around these parts. Now, I went to a few other sites, read a few awesome bios, and I really want to fabricate a badass origins story for myself, but I'm feeling particularly unimaginative today, so 'f' that jazz. I read comics, drink bourbon, and cook meats. Imagine Ron Swanson, but with a fuller beard and cuter eyes.
