George Lucas Pretty Much Confirms Hamill, Ford and Fisher Will Be Back For STAR WARS EPISODE VII

Guys, let’s face it: we don’t need any official confirmation to know that Mark Hamill, Carrie Fisher and Harrison Ford will all be back for Star Wars Episode VII. However that doesn’t stop every piece of news relating to it being a big hit. Ford had reportedly signed on to reprise the role, Hamill said “they’re talking to us,” and just the other day Fisher answered the question of whether she’d return with a straight-up “Yes,” but her reps later clarified she was joking (she probably wasn’t).

And even though Star Wars isn’t George Lucas’ anymore, that doesn’t stop him from running his mouth on a lot of secretive details. In an interview with Business Weekly, Lucas confirmed that the original three cast members have all signed on to return, and shed some light on the inner details of Disney’s acquisition of LucasFilm.

“We had already signed Mark and Carrie and Harrison—or we were pretty much in final stages of negotiation. So I called them to say, ‘Look, this is what’s going on.’ ” Maybe I’m not supposed to say that. I think they want to announce that with some big whoop-de-do, but we were negotiating with them. I won’t say whether the negotiations were successful or not.”

I expect the Disney snipers will be heading after him soon. Click the ling below to read the full, five-page article because a lot of the stuff over there is really interesting. What do you think? Share your thoughts below!
