Hansel and Gretel: Witch Hunters has had a rather strange history. When it was announced it was bashed endlessly, and as it was supposed to be released in March of this year, with no sign of a trailer or any promotion, Paramount pushed it back until early 2013. The trailer has finally leaked online and it looks so crazy and stupid it might be good, if I’m honest. I mean, it’s guaranteed the plot will be a massive pile of crap but what isn’t fun about watching Jeremy Renner and Gemma Arterton blow up witches?
Or maybe it’ll just suck.
