First Look At Christian Bale As Moses From The Set Of Ridley Scott’s EXODUS

Ridley Scott is arguably the best in the business when it comes to making an epic adventure film, he’s given us some impressive stories focusing on the discovery of the new world with 1492: Conquest of Paradise, the Roman Empire with Gladiator and the Crusades with Kingdom of Heaven (the director’s cut is worth watching).

He’s now tackling the Moses bible epic Exodus which stars Oscar winner Christian Bale and Joel Edgerton, and looks to have equally impressive sets and costumes. WeGotThisCovered along with JustJared and SplashNews got ahold of some set photos which reveal both Bale and Edgerton in costume, along with some of the impressive sets being constructed. There is even a glimpse of what Bale will look like with the full beard. The film setup at 20th Century Fox also stars Aaron Paul (Breaking Bad), Ben Kingsley, Sigourney Weaver, John Tururro, Indira Varma (Rome, Luther), Emun Elliott (Prometheus), María Valverde (Cracks) and Golshifteh Farahani (Body of Lies). It’s release date is set for December 12th, 2014.

There have been some hints from Ridley that his next project could very well be the Prometheus sequel aka Paradise, which has a completed script from writer Jack Paglen (Transcendence). The director himself has teased a possible 2015 release date for the sci-fi sequel, but it has yet to be officially announced by Fox.
