Do You Know Who Won the 2013 U.S. POKEMON NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIPS?

The 2013 U.S. Pokemon National Championships concluded this weekend in Indianapolis and we’ve got the glorious list of victors. Although I was unable to attend (last weekend was my glorious Bourbon Marathon… 3 bottles, 3 pizzas, and 8 bars… but I’m not bragging), I’m so insanely jealous of these kiddos who went. The entire event was seperated into three different divisions, all of which are based on age. Those born after 2002, those born between 1998 and 2001, and those born before 1997.

Feel old yet?

Here’s the full breakdown of the Champions.

Back in my day we had to walk 3 miles, uphill, in the SNOW if we wanted to get our rocks off playing Pokemon. Well, that’s not exactly true, but I’d still argue that we had it tougher than these newbies do now. Remember that one kid at every Pokemon meetup? He would always bully you into trading a precious foil for a shitty mcshitterson card (how many Pidgey could I possibly need?). Tough times, man.  Tough times.
