Days of Future Past SENTINEL Looks Like A Sci-Fi Wetdream

That’s one badass mutant killing machine.

Just when I thought Days of Future Past director Bryan Singer was a one trick pony (why is everything and everyone painted black?) he goes and drops this awesome bomb on me.

The Future Sentinel! He who lives in neither the past nor present! The one who shooteth lasers from his eyes and incinerates the scourge of society!

I wonder how nicely this mechanic beastie will play with the Children of the Atom. Actually, a few weeks ago we got our rotten little mits on a leaked Days of Future Past scene, in which a massive brawl between Colossus and a Future Sentinel was described.

So awesome.

Although, I’m still concerned that Bryan Singer’s aversion to CGI may hinder some action sequences. There’s nothing worse than watching a giant metal man tumbling around in the air in an obvious Hong Kong wire stunt.
