Colm Feore Looks Very VULTURE – ESQUE in Set Pic From THE AMAZING SPIDER-MAN 2

Director Marc Webb has stuffed THE AMAZING SPIDER-MAN 2 with as many characters as he could possibly find, but has he also added the old, bald, decrepit VULTURE to the mix? I’ve nothing to validate that assumption, but this latest set pic of Colm Feore has sent my mind wandering…

He looks sorta… buzzardey, right? If Feore is, in fact, Adrian Toomes (aka Vulture), then Webb’s completely disregarded the “too many villains” curse established by Sam Raimi’s Spider-Man 3. Raimi’s flick only showcased 3 antagonists, but if my basic arithmetic skills are as good as they were in grade school, then Webb’s already assembled a threesome of his own: Electro, Rhino, and Norman Osborn (possibly Hobgoblin and the return of Lizard, as well).

What do you think? I’ve no doubt that Webb and Sony are building their franchise towards an eventual Avengers-style Sinister Six movie, but do you think they’ll stuff Vulture in already?

BTW, here’s some badass fan art, in the style of Raimi’s abandoned Vulture flick. I’d really love to see a similar style in Webb’s.
