The trailer for Captain America: The Winter Soldier will go online tomorrow but Marvel is still rolling out promotional materials ahead of it. They have released two new still images from the film on USAToday. The first image has a concerned looking Agent Steve Rogers (Chris Evans) alongside Director Nick Fury (Samuel L. Jackson). Rogers is rocking his updated S.H.I.E.L.D Agent Rogers costume in the picture. It also looks like the pair are still very much apart of S.H.I.E.L.D in this part of the film, as they seem to be on the helicarrier. In the second image it looks like the aftermath of the elevator fight scene which was shown at Comic-Con and D23 over the summer. Apparently, the scene is quite brutal and shows off Cap’s newly acquired modern fighting skills. It involves Cap beating up a large number of men in an elevator in a very short period of time.
Hopefully, the trailer will give us first looks at Black Widow (Scarlett Johansson), The Falcon (Anthony Mackie), Crossbones (Frank Grillo), Agent Sharon Carter (Emily Vancamp) and the Winter Soldier (Sebastian Stan) in the sequel. As fans are highly anticipating this next installment in Marvel’s Phase Two which is set for April 2014. Winter Soldier will be followed up by Guardians of The Galaxy in August 2014 with Avengers: Age of Ultron in May 2015 ending the phase. Ant-Man in July 2015 will be the first film to start Phase 3.
