Bryan Singer has posted a new short teaser video on Instagram which gives us a few shots from the upcoming trailer for X-Men Days of Future Past. Looking like similar footage that was released at Comic-Con. He also confirmed on Twitter that indeed a full trailer will be released online this Tuesday. Likely trying to absorb some of the Marvel heat coming from the release of both Thor: The Dark World and the recent trailer for Captain America: The Winter Soldier. Days of Future Past just might be the biggest X-Men film to date. Not only having it’s largest cast which includes two eras of X-Teams. During a bleak future for mutants Wolverine with the aid of some powerful mutants has his consciousness sent back in time to his younger self. Given a mission to stop an event that would place all mutant life in jeopardy. Days of Future Past has a release date of May 2014.
The amazing thing is that Fox was able to wrangle director Bryan Singer back after Matthew Vaughn exited to make The Secret Service. Singer was responsible for the best two installments of the franchise. The second film being considered one of the highlights of the comic book film genre. So it’s going to be an interesting adventure for sure and hopefully brings the franchise back to it’s original quality. The overload of cast includes Hugh Jackman, James McAvoy, Jennifer Lawrence, Patrick Stewart, Michael Fassbender, Ian McKellen, Nicholas Hoult, Omar Sy, Peter Dinklage, Halle Berry, Adan Canto, Fan Bingbing, Anna Paquin, Evan Peters, Daniel Cudmore, Ellen Page and Booboo Stewart.
