What BETA RAY BILL Would Look Like If He’s In THOR 3

Beta Ray Bill. That equine faced alien best known for beating up Thor, stealing his lovely Mjolnir, and winning the respect of Odin Allfather.

But most importantly, he’s a flying space horse.

That’s why we love him.

Even if you’ve only had a passing interest in Thor films and comics, you’re probably familiar with Beta Ray Bill (by the way, check out our Thor 3 Ragnarok story here). He’s a fan favorite, and even though common sense would dictate that modern audiences don’t want to see a horse themed superhero on the silver screen, you Cheetos gobbling fanboys really want him in a movie.

Seriously. It’s like he’s the god damn Batman or something.

Well, if director Alan Taylor had been a sliver more courageous in Thor: The Dark World, we would’ve witness Beta Ray Bill in that Phase 2 sequel. Or, at the very least, a member of his alien race known as the Korbinites. Check out the scrapped concept art below.

Beta Ray Bill was genetically modified in the original comics, which granted him a different look than the rest of his race. A horsier look. BUT… since this is the movies, and a walking horse with a magic hammer would be kinda goofy, I think Marvel would’ve adapted Beta Ray Bill with the more moderate visage of his race, similar to this design.

I’ve actually always been hesitant to see the big orange hero on the silver screen, especially since he’s so damn “animal parts + human parts = awesome alien design”, but even I’ve gotta admit, this design is pretty cool.

Well, i meant to say the movie design is pretty cool, but this bit of faithful fan art below is cool too.
