Wolverine, that’s who!
Well, the much beloved mutie’s had a bit of a rough go at it in his past few movies. Between killing Jean Grey in one of the lamest film climaxes of all time and being magically afflicted with amnesia in his next outing, the past 2 X-Men flicks (of the original variety) haven’t been so kind to the Canuck.
Hopefully that’ll all change with director James Mangold behind the camera in THE WOLVERINE. All news from the set sings of high praise, but we’ve really just gotta wait and see with any new Wolvie project. His track record is too damn inconsistent.
Anyways, we’ve managed to steal some brand new production photos, so go ahead and give them a looksy below.
Now, I may be in the minority, but I think this looks pretty damn good. Hugh Jackman doesn’t look too ridiculous and the whole “I’m a manly man in lumber jack clothes” motif of previous films has been abandoned in favor of a nice dose of realism.
