BATMAN VS SUPERMAN Villain Found In Marvel Actor

I’m calling it now… today is the best news day since SDCC. As it stands, we now have a Wonder Woman actress in Gal Gadot, we know Flash will appear in Batman vs Superman, and now we’ve determined who the WB wants for their main villain. I won’t leave you in too much suspense, so I’ll just say it frankly: Callan Mulvey.

You probably won’t recognize the name, as he’s yet to be featured in a large role, but if you’ve seen the Captain America: The Winter Soldier teasers and trailers, then you’ll recognize him as the brutish SHIELD agent who attacks Chris Evans’ Cap in the elevator scene. He looked particularly badass in that throwdown, so I’d be more than happy to see him in future roles as a big baddie.

Although, as I’m ignorant of his previous performances, I’m curious if WB is interested in Callan Mulvey for a secondary antagonist role, or if he’ll be the primary villain. From the short snippets of film footage I’ve seen, Mulvey would make a devastating Doomsday, who’s a character rumored for Batman VS Superman. Although, he has a stoic visage (thanks to that unmoving, manly lazy eyelid), so I’m equally excited to see him embody Lex Luthor. He’d definitely transform that slippery businessman into a physically imposing villain.  Imagine Lex from the recent Superman tales.  A humanist, a capitalist, and an indignant SOB now that Superman’s claimed Earth as his home.  How impressive would a Kryptonite powered Mulvey prove in a fight against Henry Cavill’s Superman?
