MARK RUFFALO Probably Killed The Hulk TV Show

A few years ago Marvel Studios announced plans for a series of superhero TV shows to compliment their blockbuster summer releases. Since then, 2 of the 3, Cloak & Dagger and Jessica Jones, have been cancelled. The third was meant to be a Hulk series, with Guillermo Del Toro at the helm, but the famed horror director has recently revealed that the show is on an indefinite hiatus.

Now, after the pants-staining awesomeness of THE AVENGERS, I think it’s pretty obvious what’s happening here. Mark Ruffalo killed the Hulk show. His gamma powered beastie was just TOO damn cool and Marvel can’t be bothered to bring another iteration to the mainstream. Especially if that would alienate fans of the Ruff-meister’s big screen version.

In all honesty…

I can’t possibly imagine how another Bruce Banner show would be relevant alongside the movie universe and Ruffalo’s version.

I second your opinion. Ruffalo was phenomenal as Hulk, and after hearing that he wouldn’t be returning for the TV Series, I immediately lost interest and faith in it. I don’t see him doing Television anyways. Hulk belongs on the big screen. Give him another sequel with Ruffalo and I’ll be happy.

Definitely. A sequel would be great…. though, I would prefer a team up movie. Thor and Hulk? Iron Man and Hulk? Perhaps Ant Man and Hulk? There’s just so very little that Hulk is capable of doing on his own? Sure, he can smash and smash until we’re all in a nerdgasmic haze of smashamness… but too much of a good thing is bad.
