ANT-MAN MOVIE Coming Sooner Than Expected

If the recent article here at Unleash the Fanboy about the five best villains for the Ant-Man movie got you excited, then prepare to get even more stoked. Walt Disney Pictures has officially moved Edgar Wright’s Ant-Man from November 6th, 2015, to July 31st, 2015. Giving movies a sooner release date is rare indeed, and moving one forward four months is just about unheard of.
I’m assuming that Ant-Man is being issued a July 31st release due to the fact that The Avengers: Age of Ultron is slated for a May 1st, 2015, release. Don’t forget that Ant-Man is the first step in Marvel’s phase three, a run of films that will lead up to the third Avengers title. It’s assumed that we’ll get more of Captain America, Thor, and of course Iron Man, but what else could be coming? Ant-Man is certainly a new addition to Marvel’s film universe. Maybe we’ll see a Guardians of the Galaxy tie-in as well? To find out keep it here at Unleash the Fanboy.
