Amy Adams wants to be SUPER FRIENDS with WONDER WOMAN

With the barrage of fan and critic reaction, we’ve all had a few rotations to digest the recent casting tidbits from the forthcoming (and unnamed) Man of Steel sequel.

Now that we know that the Amazon warrioress is destined to invade the flick, we can now start speculating how these titans are going to meet and interact.

While discussing American Hustle with Amy Adams, she let SuperHeroHype know her feelings about a potential trinity and the plausible antagonism of the love triangle birthed by the New 52.

Am I interested? I don’t know. I mean, we’ll see. I hope that I can be involved with a woman on screen where we’re not in a love triangle. That would be fun. Maybe where we team up together and we work as teammates instead of adversaries.

Zack Snyder could very well decide that it’s thematically interesting to have a subplot where these two female leads are vying for the affections of the big blue boy-scout.  But I’m with the illustrious actress here, I’m not interested.

In the comics the relationship between both the last son of Krypton and final daughter of the Amazons makes literary sense but it’s never felt good enough to work.  There’s something unique and special about the union of human and something more.  It creates an interesting dynamic that’s lost by the makings of an overpowered coupling.
