It’s another Friday here at the offices of UTF, and you know what that means…it’s time for another edition of Freebie Fridays. This week we’re giving away an item that’s very near and dear to me. In fact, it’s an item that’ll be made by my own two hands.
Now that we’ve seen The Hobbit trailer, you all should be fairly reminded of all things involving Middle-Earth. Well, you should remember Narsil, Isildur’s sword from The Lord of the Rings trilogy. It was the sword of Sauron’s bane, it was broken but had been reforged…blah, blah, blah. Well, we happen to have a mint condition copy of this sword laying around the office and I’ve decided to give it away. But it’s not going to be whole…it’ll be in shard form.
How will I achieve this? I’ll give you some hints: there’ll be liquid nitrogen, a giant sledgehammer, and if all that fails…a pretty powerful saw. Five lucky entrants will get a chunk of the prize and I’m going to try my best to strategicallly break into equal bits, but if I end up shattering it into smithereens, then I’ll just measure it out into equal piles of awesome Sauron smiting might.
I’m sure some of you are thinking this is a waste of a perfectly good sword, but you’d be wrong! This is a scientific recreation of one of the most life-changing moments in the history of our world…or a fictional world, for that matter.
As usual, we’ll close the contest in two weeks and assign the winners then. All you have to do to win this amazing prize is:
