Vandroid #3 Review

The newest 80’s throwback comic book, is coming to a sad part of the series, with some self discovery and more. Read on to find out.

In this action-packed third issue, Vandroid gets personal! An all-out brawl with the Mighty Oak Biker Club has Vandroid discovering who he really is . . . and it’s not what he expected. But when his best friend is in danger, will Vandroid be able to withstand the brutal experimentation of the R&D Gang, or will he become a wiped motherboard?

Okay, so this whole series has been fun and exciting and more, however, there are some real moments in this issue that adds a 24230whole new dynamic to Vandroid. In this issue, our hero, was just trollying along but then a ruthless biker gang and tries to destroy our hero. The one thing that really hits hard in this issue, is how Vandroid discovers who he is, and what that means for our hero. It is something that isn’t what you would expect and how it happens is so perfect and quick that you will be like “Wow”. I love it. This issue does take itself a little too seriously but it does keep some of the 80’s fun, which is a positive.

The writing for this issue is very good. Like I said, there are some real serious moments but it goes right back into the fun and excitement that this comic has been the whole time. It is well worth the read.

The art is just great too. It gives us the emotional side of the story, but, also, there are some retro colors and neat details that really feel like that throwback, you always wanted. You will really enjoy this issue quite thoroughly, just like I did.

Vandroid is very fun and exciting but does get a little more serious than the other issues.
