V-Wars #3 Review

The war continues but with new developments and new characters we see that everything is not black and white. Read on to find out more.

Taurus Harper is the newest member of V-8, the military special operations unit assigned to dismantling-with extreme force-the ever increasing number of vampire terrorist cells popping up. Taurus is young, enthusiastic, fearless… his teammates in V-8 know he’s just the type to catch the first bullet. But, is there even more to this new recruit than anyone realizes?

The one thing that I have enjoyed about this series so far, is that thereAPR140418_m isn’t a clear line between good and evil. You think that there might be but then you get thrown through a loop with a new reveal or a new idea that comes to fruition. This is what occurs in this issue. You have a young man who is an all American who joins this new team division. He is smart, funny, courageous, and an all American boy but there happens to be more about him that meets the eye with motivations and realizations. It really does ruin the issue if I go to much farther into but I think that this a must read of the series. It is just very good.

The writing works for this issue and adds a layer to the story that you would normally expect with something called V-Wars but it does. The character development is great and takes the time focus and become invested in who we are reading about, whether, it be good or bad, which Is a nice and refreshing part in the comic book world.

The art is just as good as the as the story. You have a lot of color play in this issue and it works out to be fantastic. I really enjoy the choices that the artist makes in this issue.

V-Wars #3 is a great and interesting story and adds a whole new layer to the overarching story.
