If you haven’t been reading the Fantastic Four lately (or the Future Foundation, for the semantically inclined), then what are you waiting for!?!?!? Honestly, with a name like Jonathan Hickman inked along the writer’s line, you’re an idiot for not adding this book to your weekly pull list.
Alright, I guess that’s a bit harsh, so don’t feel too ashamed. The FF weren’t always so highly regarded (cue the Mark Waid blame game), but thanks to a brilliant run by Hitch and Millar, and the subsequent years under Hickman, this Fantastic Family is easily one of the best books on the market. In fact, I’m willing to wager my entire life’s savings, all $37 in single dollar bills (what? You can never be over-prepared, especially with the dramatic spike in spontaneous drunken nights at the local strip-club) that you’ll absolutely love the FF, especially with this awesome sneak peak at issue #18.
Marvel is proud to present your first look at, FF #18, from superstar creators Jonathan Hickman and Nick Dragotta! The kids of the Future Foundation suit up for their first field trip…to the Negative Zone?! That’s right True Believers, Johnny Storm plays substitute teacher for a day and takes the team deep into his sovereign dimension, but when the locals aren’t too happy with the Human Torch – chaos ensues! Can the FF and Johnny make it out of the Negative Zone with limited scratches? Find out in FF #18, hitting comic shops, the Marvel Comics app, and Marvel Digital Comic Shop this May!
