Skyman #4 Review

With the world against them and the organization that created Eric Reid, what will happen to Skyman and Captain Midnight in the epic conclusion of Skyman? Read on to find out.

Fighting for his life thousands of feet above the ground, Skyman faces off against the people who made him a hero—and if he fails, he falls! Literally! They tried to make the perfect weapon, but they got a hero instead. And Skyman intends to act like one, even if it costs him his life!

So what happens in this new issue of Skyman? Well I am happy to say that it is awesome and well worth the read. So with the agency that created him, now totally against him, Skyman has to defend himself in this epic SKYMAN-4-PG-01-f44deconclusion of Skyman. The nice thing is that he is not alone. Captain Midnight is there to help. Now the nice thing is that these two have some great moments between each other while they are fighting a legion of Skymen. It adds a depth to the characters and really makes them likable. It just works. Along with this, there is some great moments between Skyman and the people that created him, that really makes you think what a hero is and what is their duty. You will have to read it to see for yourself but, overall, it is just fantastic.

The writing for the series has been really good but this is issue is a highlight. There is an emotion that is in this issue that hasn’t been seen in a while from comic books. Although, I wish there were more coming after this, the ending really is something special.

The art is just amazing. The use of colors and the ability for the artist to use the sky as a positive to the story is fantastic.

The conclusion to Skyman is one that you don’t want to miss.
