Sinister Dexter #6 Review

What is going on with our tag team duo? Read on and find out.

There’s a new Gun Shark in Downlode but is he competition for Sinister and Dexter, a possible compatriot, or just another in a long line of souls for Death to shepherd across the River Styx? Plus, a glimpse into the life of a bullet.

This series has been an interesting ride and, at first, I didn’t like it at first but as it has gone on I have developed a fond spot for it. download (3)This issue has gone through an interesting take. There is a new person that comes into the seen who may or may not have sinister intentions. I mean it is something that you will have to judge for yourself but these things are kind of developed a little too slowly for my taste. I mean it is something that I really wished moved faster. The one nice thing is that the issue has quite a bit of action and Dexter and Sinister do some great gun slinging in this issue that makes it exciting. There is one point I would like to point out and that is there is some personification of a bullet that is pretty neat. It isn’t just a character it’s something that you feel. It is very interesting.

The writing for this issue is good but it does leave something to be desired. I have to say that I wish that it moved a little faster and wasn’t so ambiguous. It seems to me that the writer could move it just a little quicker. I do like the characters and the way that it is going but I could wish for more at the end of the issue.

The art, on the otherhand, is spot on. It works well with the writing because of the style and the way that the writing is going. It works very well.

Sinster Dexter is very interesting with its writing and art but lacks the story driving abilities.
