SERIOUSLY DC? Joshua Hale Fialkov Off GREEN LANTERN CORPS. and RED LANTERNS!

At DC Comics someone went off their rocker almost completely and decided to fire the hot new indie writer, Joshua Hale Fialkov (of Red Lanterns and Green Lantern Corps). Considering all of the awkward drama circulating the DC writing house, this isn’t too outlandish. Honestly, their editorial staff must be completely insane at this point.

And, let’s be frank here, Hale Fialkov’s departure is only the latest development in a string of sad depressing failures at DC Comics. The most recent episode that comes to mind is the firing of Gail Simone, and then here subsequent unfiring. Who could forget the very public Rob Liefeld meltdown a few months ago?

You want to know the worst part about all of this insanely depressing news?

Joshua Hale Fialkov was legitimately excited to write these books and had a great pitch for both.  Readers you may now go cry yourselves to sleep while cursing DC.
