The Witcher #5 Review

The epic  story arc comes to an end in the “House of Glass”, what goes on  and how will it end?

Geralt uncovers a bitter betrayal, leading to the release of a legion of cursed souls! As he endures their onslaught, he must also seek escape from the torture of the House of Glass!

Okay, so up to this point, The Witcher, has been doing some pretty 24217crazy things in the “House of Glass”. I mean there is a lot going on in this issue. It is really crazy. There is nothing going well and now he has to deal with an angry spirit but from this we learn the past of Jacob and his wife Martha. Apparently, the angry spirit was sold to Jacob to be his wife, where he forced himself on her and did some awful things. Then, when she has an affair, he catches them and kills the man, justifying it by saying that it was a monster. Eventually, he kills his wife and that is how she ended up in the “House of Glass”. It is very heart wrenching and works very well with what is occurring in the story. I mean it is really great. The ending of the story is just great and ends the way that really fits the character. This is something that really shines.

The art is really a great part of this story. The way that the story is weaved together with such great art, it brings it forth. I really do think that this is what makes the comic great besides the awesome writing. It is fantastic.

The writing is great and works for this kind of comic. It is fun, sad, and full of great exposition.

The Witcher is a great series, with some great reveals. You should really get into it.
