Terminal Hero #4 previewTerminal Hero may have gotten off to a rather underwhelming start, but the last couple of issues has certainly highlighted intriguing concept behind the series. Despite this the series has still struggled to transcend into something truly magnificent, staying firmly in the average ballpark. This doesn’t change with this issue, as though there are some interesting developments, it still felt rather average on the whole.

Peter Milligan may have came up with a fabulous concept, but he’s been having trouble delivering on this. On a more positive note, the events of Terminal Hero continues to excite, as despite not being extraordinary, it remains a worthy addition to anyones pull list. The main thing that captivated me in this issue however was the overall serious tone within, with both Rory, Mia and Minesh all at one point or another giving something truly emotional.

Piotr Kowalski continues to change my earlier regarding his artwork, as though it’s still to majorly impress me, it no longer leaves a horrible taste in the back of my mind. Giving a dramatic tone throughout, Kowalski’s layouts prove extremely dynamic. He also gives some emotional expressions, complimenting Milligan’s script perfectly. Despite this the final finish was a little too rough, with the lack of detail being a downer. The colours on the other hand continues to allure, with Kelly Fitzpatrick‘s punchy colours adding a vibrant overtone.

Terminal Hero continues to leave some mixed opinions, as though there’s once again some amazing developments, the overall execution feels lacking in intensity. Still the issue proves a intriguing read, coming recommended.
