Pathfinder: City of Secrets #6 Review

The world of our hero’s is being thrown through a loop and they may not make it. Will we get answers or just more questions? Read on to find out more.

The Pathfinder heroes have been tested by the City of Secrets and, by the end of this chapter, it will leave its mark upon them. Divided, betrayed, and outmaneuvered at every turn, can the group go on.. or is this where their adventure ends?

The last time we left, we had our hero’s recovering after barely making it out the last bout with demons. It is something that was, both, scary and sad. It seemed that these characters were losing everything. We, also, see that one of characters is not like the other and that will play a role, even though they were pretty much dying in the last issue. This issue continues on from the last and has our hero’s split up, each one trying to find out answers and try to develop some of themselves. The story weaves together all the different perspectives on the characters and it is really dark. The story takes a very dark turn and by the end, I wasn’t sure what was going to happen later. It is worth the read. You will not be sure what will happen and how it will continue on.

Jim Zub is a fantastic story teller. He gives us these compelling characters and takes them on their own adventure. It is really great and I appreciate what he was doing with issue. I can’t wait for the next one. It does leave more questions then answers but I will allow that.

Leandro Oliveira does a great job with the art. It is quick and really fills out in the panels. It will be fantastic. I love the art in this issue.
